Laser Spinal Decompression Therapy

What Is Laser Assisted Spinal Decompression?

Laser spinal decompression is a procedure that stretches the spine using a traction table. It works by using targeted pressure to reposition the spine.

Laser Assisted Spinal Decompression Therapy

Laser assisted spinal decompression is a non-invasive treatment for patients suffering from chronic neck and/or lower back pain. This treatment uses a Class 4 Laser for precision targeting. Ultimately, this innovative approach to spine treatment will relieve pain and restore your quality of life.

What Can Spinal Decompression Treat?

  • Herniated discs
  • Spinal stenosis
  • Sciatica and pinched nerves
  • Degenerative disc disease
  • Facet syndrome
  • Hip, leg, shoulder, wrist and arm discomfort

What Is Degenerative Disc Disease?

Spinal discs rest between the vertebrae (bones) in the spine and absorbs the shock when you’re walking. However, spine flexibility eventually wears down over time and leads to a herniated disc. This can lead to severe pain.

The tissue surrounding the spine will inflame due to the pain caused by a herniated disc. However, swelling around the discs can be alleviated with traction or laser assisted spinal decompression therapy to create space between the vertebrae and discs in order to eliminate friction and restore flexibility.

How Does Spinal Decompression Work?

Laser assisted spinal decompression uses a Class 4 Laser without the need for surgery. The laser decompresses the spine by relaxing tight and inflamed muscle tissue. Once the muscles relax, it restores space between the discs. For example, this releases pressure that would cause a pinched nerve.
